Neighborhood Stabilization Program

City Wide CDC was awarded 1.5 Million Dollars in NSP funding from the City of Dallas under President Obama’s America Recovery Act of 2009 to acquire 13 foreclosed lots.  City Wide CDC will built 13 single-family homes for homebuyers at or below of 50% of area median in the Runyon Springs Sub-division to stabilize the area.

City Wide CDC is also building the homes with green materials with financial assistance from the Enterprise Foundation.  City Wide CDC was the first organization statewide  to be certified green by using the Enterprise Foundation green criteria standards.

City Wide CDC has constructed and completed the sell of (8) homes with the contracts and construction pending on the additional 5 homes.  All homes will be completed by June 1 , 2012 with phase two to begin July, 2012.  The average square foot of the homes is 1500 with average sales price between 65,000 to 70,000.
